The Energy Day is the most significant recruitment event in the Ostrobothnia region

What is TED

The Energy Day (TED) is arranged annually by the Levón Institute. TED is the most significant recruitment event in the Ostrobothnia region. It functions as a meeting place for university & polytechnic students and companies. Naturally, anyone interested is welcome. One of the main focuses of TED is energy, but there are companies present from many other industries as well. The event offers numerous possibilities for students in several faculties and schools, not just for those who are interested in energy.

The event brings up the diversity and various options offered by the different industries on local, national and international level. In the event students and other guests can make themselves familiar with the participating companies and other organizations at their stands. An event magazine will also be published. Free entry.

The venue

The event will be arranged at the University of Vaasa, where VAMK University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences are also located close by. Participating companies present themselves at their stands in the main building Tervahovi and lobby area of scientific library Tritonia.

Why participate

TED is a great opportunity for students to get familiar with the companies operating within different industries and to meet the experts personally. Participants can extend their knowledge of different alternatives and possibilities that are available after graduation. We want to encourage students to consider e.g. energy industry from the point of view of career or research. Therefore, there are several organizations present at the event who can offer excellent opportunities for future vacancies and theses.
