Coronavirus infections at Isolahti, Merenkurkku and Old Vaasa schools as well as at Onkilahti school

Coronavirus infections discovered in Vaasa schools on 10 September and 12 September.

Two coronavirus infections were discovered at Isolahti primary school. A total of 33 pupils and three members of staff were exposed and have been placed in quarantine.

One coronavirus infection was discovered at Merenkurkku secondary school on 10 September.

A total of 24 pupils and two members of staff were exposed.

One coronavirus infection was discovered in the upper classes of Onkilahti School on 12 September. A total of 48 pupils and three members of staff were exposed.

One coronavirus infection was discovered at Vanha Vaasa school on 10 September.

A total of 14 pupils and one member of staff were exposed.

All those exposed have been quarantined according to the instructions of the health authorities. Other pupils continue to attend school normally.

In all schools, the guardians and staff of all pupils have been informed of the incidents.
