– Daytime pursuits and stimulation activities, as well as exercise services, are closed until 31 October 2020. Members of staff will be placed in other tasks as needed. Short-term care is only provided to those in need of essential care, says the director of home and istitutional care, Leif Holmlund.

Clients must not come for short-term care if they have a runny nose or other symptoms that suggest coronavirus. The operations of the memory clinic will be maintained with the current resources for the time being.

On 8 October we already informed about the bans on visits to the wards of Vaasa City Hospital and to enhanced service housing for seniors between 7 October and 31 October 2020. Only those in hospice care may be visited upon agreement. The Hospital-at-Home service is open 24/7.
