Nurses' and doctors' receptions at Gerby and Ristinummi health stations open again from 2 November

As the number of coronavirus infections has decreased significantly, the staff involved in corona tracing will return to their regular work at the nurses’ and doctors’ receptions at Gerby and Ristinummi health stations from 2 November 2020.

To prevent the spread of infections, everyone should wear a face mask when visiting the health stations. If you have forgotten to bring your own mask, then you can use a mask from the health stations.

The reception of patients with symptoms of a respiratory infection is still centralised in separate rooms on the 1st floor of the Main Health Station, Tammikaivontie 4. The reception is by appointment only via the telephone service numbers of the health stations:

Seasonal flu vaccinations begin on 9 November

A vaccination time can be booked electronically from 2 November at: www.vaasa.fi/terveysasemapalvelut. Note! Influenza vaccination times are marked separately. From 2 November 2020, you can also book a vaccination time by phone Mon-Fri 12:00-14:00: tel. 040 665 0709 or 040 542 1535.

To make an appointment for the Vähänkyrö Health Station, call Mon-Thu from 8:00 – 16:00 and Fri 8:00 – 14:00, tel. +358 6 325 8500 or electronically at: www.vaasa.fi/terveysasemapalvelut.

In Vaasa, flu vaccinations are  given for free to children aged 6 months to 6 years, pregnant women, those in risk groups and all those over the age of 65 as well as to those starting their military service and women starting voluntary military service.
