Processing of exhibition proposals
The exhibition programme of the Museums of Vaasa includes solo exhibitions and thematic group exhibitions of both domestic and foreign art historians and contemporary artists. The exhibitions aim to present a wide range of artistic phenomena, contents, and forms of expression. The selection, design, and implementation of the exhibitions will reflect the diversity of audiences.
We independently plan the content of our programmes and select the artists to be presented on an invitation basis. Our exhibition programme is planned for a period of approximately two years.
We actively follow the visual arts scene, but we also welcome exhibition proposals.
How to submit an exhibition proposal
- The proposal should include a written description of the project, approximately one page in length.
- Attach up to 6 images (.jpeg, 300 dpi, max 1 MB). For video works, please include a link to the video file in the project description.

Commenting the proposals
As our exhibition software is not based on an application process, we do not provide feedback on the proposals sent to us, but we will contact the sender in case we need further information about the project.
