Price list and tickets

On this page, you can familiarise yourself with our museums’ price list and ticket types. A purchased admission ticket entitles you to visit the Ostrobothnian Museum, Tikanoja Art Museum, and Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art on the same day.

Entrance fees 2024

  • Adults: €12
  • Students, pensioners, military conscripts, unemployed: €7
  • Children and young people under 18 years of age: free admission.

A discounted ticket (€7) can be purchased if you belong to one of the following groups: pensioners, students, military conscripts, civilian servicemen, teachers, visual artists, unemployed, City of Vaasa employees.

Free admission days in 2024

  • 8th March: International Women’s Day, free admission for everyone
  • 12th May: Mother’s Day, free admission for all women
  • 18th May: International Museum Day, free admission for everyone
  • 5th June: World Environment Day, free admission for everyone
  • 8th August: Night of the Arts
  • 2nd October: Vaasa City’s Birthday, free admission for everyone
  • 10th November: Father’s Day, free admission for all men
  • 17th December – 21st December: Christmas Free Days, free admission for everyone.

Guided tours

Guided tours during museum opening hours:

  • Tuesday–Friday €50 + entrance fees
  • Saturday–Sunday €80 + entrance fees

Guided tours outside opening hours: €230 (Tuesday–Friday, includes opening fee)

Special Guided Tours: Upon request, special guided tours are also organised in Finnish, Swedish, or English according to the customers’ wishes. Special guided tours must always be arranged in advance. Simple language and image-interpreted guided tours are also available.

The price of a special guided tour depends on the topic and length of the tour.

Guided tours for school groups:

  • Guided tour for non-Vaasa schoolchildren €40
  • Guided tour for student groups €40 + group admission fee
  • Special guided tour during museum opening hours Tuesday–Sunday €60 + entrance fees

Note! Guided tours are free for Vaasa City schools and daycares!

Advance reservation is required for school groups.

  • Groups (minimum of 10 people) €7/person
  • Group admission fee for students €40.

Buy a ticket in advance online

You can use the ticket yourself or give it as a gift! Tickets purchased from the online store are valid for 12 months, starting from the day of purchase. A day ticket is valid for one day of your choice, and it is redeemed by showing the booking confirmation at the ticket office of the museum that you are visiting.

Museum Card

The Museum Card is your entrance ticket to over 300 museums from Åland to Inari. The card is valid for one year, starting from the day you use it for the first time. You can buy the Museum Card at the Ostrobothnian Museum, Tikanoja Art Museum, and Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art. The price of a new Museum Card is €79. Renewing an existing Museum Card: €73
