Visit Vaasa's Summer Bus, Fridays 7.7.-28.7.2023 - Kyrö Distillery
What do you get when you mix a group of five friends and a thought that sprang to mind during a sauna get-together: why do they not make rye gin in Finland? You get Kyrö Distillery Company’s rye distillery and a gin that is awarded the best in the world.
The distillery that Kyrö Distillery founded in an old dairy in 2014 has put the small village of Isokyrö on the world map. A guided tour behind the scenes at the distillery offers memorable stories from the founding of the company, all the way to the secrets of distillation and product development. You can buy tickets (12 €/person) to the tour when you buy the bus ticket
After the tour, you can immerse yourself in the tastes of rye at a guided tasting (in finnish, 23 €/person) which you can purchase on-site. You can also head for the distillery’s terrace to enjoy cocktails and summer food made from local raw materials.

Bus ticket (round trip): 10 €/adult, 5 €/child 3-12 years.
