On July 17 at 3:00 PM, Carlsro Museum will be filled with folk music joy as Bäckens spelmän from Sweden visit us for a unique summer concert in the park. The group performs folk music from Härjedalen using instruments such as violins and the Härjedalen pipe, offering an atmospheric afternoon concert with traditional sounds. Their musicality and warm presence create an atmosphere where the best memories of summer are made. Bäckens spelmän are: Ulf Lindblom (violin), Marianne Tove (violin), Eva Johansson (violin), Dag Strömberg (flute), and Kristjan Aunver (double bass).

Welcome to the unique Carlsro City Museum. The museum is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the end of August, and in May and September on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the sauna, you can, until the end of September, see the summer exhibition Loistohuvilan aika – Lyxvillans tid, which tells the story of Carlsro’s villa era and the fate of the Carlström family who owned the villa.
