Library evening 2026 – for first graders and their guardians

Activities for first graders in all the library units during August-September.
Evening’s non-stop program from 5 pm to 7 pm:
– Library card for first graders, the guardian needs to bring along a valid ID
– Library orienteering
– Decorate your own tote bag
– Get some book recommendations
– Borrow books and other materials
Register for the library evening in advance and fill in the library card application. Please let us know which library event you would like to attend. The ordered library card is made beforehand. In the library, the last part of the child’s personal identity code will be added to the library register. Please bring along the child’s Kela card and the guardian’s valid ID. After the child’s signature, the library card is ready to be used.
You can participate in any library evening of your choice. You can select the evening in the application form. The evening’s program is non-stop and enables families to participate at a time that suits them – you don’t have to be there at 5 pm.
