Nordic Energy Capital (NEC), Vaasan kaupunki

NEC: The Nordic Energy Capital (Project ID: EUI03-111) is a large-scale European initiative led by the City of Vaasa using the Vaskiluoto area as a real-life living lab to accelerate the urban energy transition. Through system-level modeling, co-creation, and experimentation, NEC integrates digital twins, AI, and citizen engagement to build smart, inclusive, and low-emission energy systems — designed to scale across Europe.
