Experience Vaasa’s history in a vivid way! This guided tour takes you to Old Vaasa and the idyllic Golkas Manor by the Kyrö River. Enjoy the scenery and the unique historical setting.
Kolkki manor is located by a historic rapid area along the Kyro River, where water power has been utilized for centuries. During the 18th and 19th centuries, the area developed into a significant industrial and manor environment, whose history still lives on in the beautiful riverside landscape.
At the manor, we will have a short break, giving those who wish the opportunity to enjoy coffee and light refreshments on the terrace or admire the scenic views of the river Kyrönjoki (refreshments are not included in the price).
On the return journey, we will drive via the village of Toby and pass the Toby stone bridge, which is one of the oldest preserved stone bridges in Finland.
