My Baltic Sea – Baltic Sea Workshop at Kuntsi
Article categories: Museums & Folklore
On Baltic Sea Day 2026, we will create a shared seascape together.
What would you like to preserve for future generations?
On Baltic Sea Day 2026, we will create a shared seascape together where participants can leave their memories, thoughts and hopes for the future. Together, we will highlight the many ways the Baltic Sea is part of our lives – as a landscape, a memory, a living environment and a shared future.
In this workshop, we will take a moment to reflect on the Baltic Sea, our relationship with the environment, change, and the values we wish to preserve for the future. These same themes are explored in Apocalypse No/w, the joint exhibition by Marcus Lerviks and Florian Tuercke currently on display at Kuntsi. Through contemporary art, the exhibition examines the relationship between humans and nature.
The workshop will take place at Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art as part of the Baltic Sea Day programme and is suitable for all ages. Participation is free of charge.
