OSTROBOTHNIAN ROOMS – CULTURAL HERITAGE AND CONTEMPORARY DESIGN

Article categories: Museums & Folklore

Handcrafted works from more than 20 Ostrobothnian designers and local folk-art treasures presented in a spatial context.

The exhibition is a spatial journey through Ostrobothnian cultural heritage, focusing on traditional and contemporary textile, wood, and ceramic crafts. The exhibition demonstrates how craftsmanship is an ever-evolving expression of place, time, and tradition. By surrounding ourselves with colours, materials and crafts from our local environment, we can strengthen the connection to our roots and contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage.
