Vaasa 420 – TaiKon’s Virtual Exhibition

TaiKon’s 13–15-year-old pupils of the Visual Arts 4 group have created a virtual exhibition to celebrate Vaasa’s 420th anniversary. The exhibition brings together the city’s history, familiar landmarks and the young artists’ imagination.

Animations at Vaasa’s landmarks
The students have created animations inspired by well-known landmarks in Vaasa. The artworks come to life through QR codes: find the QR code near the artwork, scan it with your phone and watch the animation!

The artworks can be experienced as from Vaasa’s birthday, 2 October, onwards.
