Vaasa LittFest celebrates 25 years! Three days of literature, author visits, music and conversations.
Vaasa LittFest Vasa celebrates its 25th anniversary from 12 to 14 November 2026. For three days, literature takes centre stage in Vaasa, inviting us to see the world, one another and ourselves from new perspectives.
The anniversary programme brings together many forms of literature with topics that resonate in the world around us. The festival explores themes ranging from love, courage, identity and belonging to history, society, religion and different worldviews, and asks how literature can help us understand both ourselves and the world. The programme includes author interviews and discussions, poetry, music and encounters between art and science.
Festival guests include Monika Fagerholm, Kjell Westö, Sirpa Kähkönen, Enni Mustonen, Juhani Karila, Johanna Venho, Jessikka Aro, Axel Åhman, Ville Mäkipelto and Tuomas Enbuske, among many others.
Events take place at Vaasa City Library, Vaasa City Hall, Vaasa City Theatre and the Alma Adult Education Centre. The festival programme is in Finnish and Swedish.
Join us in celebrating literature and 25 years of LittFest!
