Can you really visit a restaurant with your dog? The truth is that you absolutely can, as long as the restaurant allows it and your dog is trained enough to stay calm inside the restaurant or on the terrace. Remember to respect staff and other customers by placing yourself in the restaurant so that the dog does not accidentally surprise others. Check with the restaurant what applies, if there for example are restrictions on during which times the dog can join and where you can sit.

A charming , intimate and cozy cellar restaurant. We offer à la carte cuisine, which is inspired by Nordic food culture. We bought our drinks from around the world . Bacchus is the perfect place to enjoy food and drink in peaceful surroundings.
Lunch is served Monday to Friday in Svenska Klubben (the Swedish Club). At lunch, a rich salad table is served, which is prepared every morning from the area’s fresh ingredients. Every day at lunch, in addition to the fresh salad table, we have four main courses served. A warm and delicious soup and usually meat or fish as well as a vegetarian alternative. To Svenska Klubben you are also allowed to bring your four-legged friend.

We are small independent brewery situated in the heart of a once booming brewing district. After nearly thirty years of silence, we brewed the first batch in February 2015 in a refurbished ice cellar that has now become our home. Our beers are produced in small quantities and we personally check that every batch is up to the high standard we have set for ourselves- only the best is good enough! We have also opened Bock’s pub in connection to the brewery where people are welcome to socialize and enjoy a tasty meal while watching the brewmaster at work. Remember to also say hi to our animals outside!

At the quay of Kalaranta you will find us along with the most spectacular view in Vaasa. Faros Restaurant is an old lightship that came to Vaasa in 1989 and has ever since worked as a restaurant. The sunniest terrace of Vaasa is at Faros. With a wonderful panoramic view you can enjoy the summer at its best. We have space for about 300 people. Here you can enjoy both food and drinks. Faros Restaurant Ship expanded the summer of 2018 and a new restaurant, FYR was built in connection to the terrace. FYR has a beautiful and fresh interior. In the restaurant of the visitor center, your taste buds will be tantalized by delicious food and rye cocktails. Amidst the excellent flavors, you will hear fascinating stories from Kyrö’s journey, not forgetting about future plans.
The restaurant is open on Saturdays and for group bookings year-round. Our kitchen food is available for groups with prior reservation. We also organize open dinners where you can participate, for example, with a friend.
The bar itself is a sight to behold – that a municipality with 4500 inhabitants has its own cocktail bar. During the visitor center’s opening hours or during group visits, our cocktail bar is always open, so we recommend enjoying the Kyrö atmosphere and rye drinks when you visit us.

The Niska restaurant concept has been developed by the famous chef, Michael Björklund, from Åland. At Niska, we serve you Plåtbröd, thin Åland-style pizzas, made with high-quality ingredients. We make our own tomato sauce and the plåtbröd is topped with long aged cheese from Åland Mejeriet (ÅCA), the dairy of the Åland islands. An attempt to translate plåtbröd into English could be ”sheet metal bread”, but we can assure you it tastes a lot better than it sounds!

Welcome to Cornelia! Cornelia is a lifestyle shop and café situated in Närpes at the west coast of Finland. We are located close to the centre of Närpes, but still in a very cozy and old milieu.
In our shop you can find a lot of lovely items for home decoration from nice suppliers such as Greengate, Ib Laursen, Miljögården, Chic Antique, Jeanne d’Arc living and many others. At Cornelia, you’ll also find a wide range of beautiful clothes in Danish design from Cream, Creamie and Kaffe.
The old houses of Cornelia are surrounded by a beautiful old garden and in the summertime you can relax in the garden and enjoy a cup of coffee. All cakes, pies etc are produced at Cornelia using local ingredients always when possible.
During the winter we also produce chocolate pralines and during the summer our speciality is homemade ice-cream. In the summertime, we open up the nice old museum and a small shop for handicrafted items.

Restaurant Strampen is located by the beautiful inner harbor in Vaasa, and is one of Finland’s oldest restaurants with its 150 year old history.
