VPS in the Vaasa on two wheels campaign – Can You Beat Their Times?

Five footballers from VPS took part in a two-part cycling challenge, recording the fastest times of the campaign.

In the first part of the challenge, the players competed at Kaarlenkenttä Stadium to see who could cycle 2 x 400 metres the fastest.

In the second part, the players completed a cycling skills course against the clock. The course consisted of four different sections, completed consecutively without breaks:

1. Zigzagging between traffic cones in two directions. Spacing between cones: 1.60 m.
2. Five figure-eights around two cones. Spacing between cones: 2.20 m.
3. Precision parking: stopping the bike lengthways in a straight line between two cones. Distance between cones: roughly the length of a bicycle.
4. Agility task: grabbing an object while moving and handing it to the judge

Although the main goal was participation, it’s worth noting that the fastest VPS player overall – based on the combined time from both challenges – was Henri Sillanpää! Try the cycling challenge yourself and see if you can beat the VPS players’ times:
