Rules for the 2025 Happiness Act Prize Draw

Organiser of the prize draw

The prize draw is organised by the City of Vaasa, Communications Services, PL 3 (Vaasanpuistikko 10), 65101 Vaasa

Entry period

The entry period is 31 Dec 2025 – 31 Jan 2026.

Prize

All respondents will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a hotel gift card and a special programme (worth €200). The gift card is valid for 12 months. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize cannot be transferred to another person. If the winner of the prize draw is under 18, the booking and prize must be used with an adult.

The prize draw

The prize will be drawn by 16 February 2026 among all those who have submitted their contact details via the survey site by the deadline. Winners will be contacted personally, and arrangements for collecting the prize will be made with them. If the winner cannot be reached within two (2) weeks using the contact details they provided, the unclaimed prize will be drawn again.

Use of respondents’ contact information

Participants in the prize draw will be asked for their contact details so that we can contact the winners. The contact details will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted after the prize has been collected.

Liability of the prize draw organiser

The City of Vaasa / Communications Services limits its liability to the prize being drawn. The prize recipient releases the organiser from all liability that may arise, or be claimed to arise, from participating in this prize draw or from claiming or using the prize.

Other information

The official rules apply to all participants. By entering this prize draw, participants agree to comply with these rules and the decisions made by of the organiser of the prize draw. If, for any reason, the winner does not wish to accept the prize, the organiser of the prize draw has the right to draw a new winner. Any ambiguities regarding the application or interpretation of the rules will be resolved by the organiser of the prize draw. The organiser of the prize draw reserves the right to make changes in the event of any obstacles. The organiser of the prize draw is not liable for any detected irregularity.
