During Energy Week, residents will have their own meeting place at the Espen shopping centre.
This year, during Energy Week, residents will have their own meeting place: the city’s information point at the Espen shopping centre, where the city will playfully hand out “Electric Info Jolts.” These jolts are short information bites and practical tips on saving electricity. In addition, at the information point, visitors can discuss Energy Week and the city’s strategic goal of becoming carbon neutral by the end of this decade. Event 17–18 2026 March at 10 am – 2 pm at the Espen shopping centre.
The From Words to Climate Actions campaign supports Vaasa’s goal of becoming carbon neutral during the 2020s. The goal can be achieved together, and we invite all residents, businesses, and communities to join us in taking meaningful climate action.
