Introduction, review of materials. We will explore more unconventional compositions, consider new perspectives, and discuss the importance of sketching: “The first sketch is not necessarily the best…”, originality in choosing and interpreting subjects.
Painting based on your own ideas or the teacher’s suggestions, from photographs, including human figures…
Sat 7 March, 10 AM – 6 PM
Painting continues. We will focus on depicting interiors and how to create the right atmosphere using colors and values. People in indoor settings, e.g., café, home, workplace, car, etc. In addition, we will paint human figures in different situations and experiment with monochromatic painting = using a single color…
Sun 8 March, 10 AM – 4 PM
Painting continues: interiors, otherwise the subject matter is free, e.g., landscapes, still lifes… At the end of the course, we will review achievements and provide critique.
Participants can freely choose their technique. They may divide their time between drawing and painting.
