Photoexhibition

The exhibition Black Kaffinobox XXXII consists of photographs taken by visitors during an interactive pinhole camera event, held at the Malm House / The museum of Pietarsaari / Jakobstad on July 25–26, 2024.

The images were produced using pinhole cameras made from “surrogate coffee” packaging, i.e., Kaffino boxes. The original negatives were scanned, inverted, printed on “lightbox film,” and mounted inside illuminated Kaffino boxes. A total of 52 photographs are displayed in the exhibition. Black Kaffinobox XXXII is a collective exhibition portraying the Malm House and its surroundings from multiple perspectives.
