Decorated at Stundars

During the summer of 2025, nine museums between Oravais and Pörtom will join forces to present the exhibition Decorated. The exhibition will showcase the techniques used in the colourful world of folk painting in Ostrobothnia. There will be various treasures to be seen, such as engagement gifts and chests, moved from the parish granary and from storage to the newly renovated front-room of the Farmhouse at Stundars. This is the perfect time to make an Ostrobothnian roundtrip and get acquainted with the beauty of traditional folk painting!
