Alkula was the first steam mill in Finland, established by A.A. Levón in 1849.
In 1849, August Alexander Levon established the first steam mill in Finland called Alkula. His passion for gardering left visible marks still to be seen here. The area was radically fixed up in 2018-2019 leaving some obstacles for disabled persons.
