The Brothers Grimm are hunting for fairy tales in the dark forests of the Black Forest when they suddenly catch one that smells strange and sounds peculiar. It turns out to be the story of Hansel and Gretel – siblings who struggle with hunger, a cunning stepmother, getting lost in the woods, and seeking shelter in a mysterious candy house where a witch awaits.
The classic fairy-tale theme is woven together with humor, music, and a modern twist. The performance blends rhyme, rhythm, and imagination with serious questions about courage, sibling bonds, and finding light when everything feels dark.
