LaFolk Festival Returns in August!
For the third year in a row, Lafo Folk Music Center is organizing the LaFolk Festival. This year, the festival will take place from August 11th to 17th, celebrating the region’s folk culture through music, dance, and traditions from Ostrobothnia, Finland, and the Nordic countries. The festival culminates on Friday and Saturday, August 15th-16th, with performances by, among others, Orsa spelmän (SWE), Maija Kauhanen, Désirée Saarela & Triskel, Roger Tallroth (SWE) & Esko Järvelä, and I Fäälan.
