Marja Kolu has been called a living legend of object art, uses in his latest exhibition a macabre world of imagination

When the pale November sun goes down, the evil devils of the dark are unleashed. Marja Kolu’s art is opinionated, often seasoned with black humor, and questions norms and conventionality.

Kolu, who has already lived in the Vaasa region for more than a decade, and has been called a living legend of object art, uses in his latest exhibition a macabre world of imagination, which teems with Halloween characters from the dark closets of the subconscious. Not forgetting the barbies.
