MARJO HYVÄRINEN | ENTEN TENTEN

My exhibition Entten tentten is about a desperate friendship with cancer. A friendship,
where cancer cells grow without permission in your body and build their own society
there. And why?!

While working on the artwork, I thought about all the questions that cancer raised in me
and that wandered in my head almost incessantly. I had a compelling need to work
through the daunting illness I was facing like a child playing with the issues weighing on her mind.
