Rally obedience is a dog hobby sport developed in the United States in the early 2000s and granted official status in Finland in 2014. It combines elements of obedience, agility and dog dancing. In rally obedience, the most important thing is the happy cooperation between the handler and the dog, not so much the exact position of the dog, the exact straightness of the position or the fastest possible performance. In rally obedience, various movements (including basic positions, jumps, turns and spins and varying combinations of these) are performed in the order determined by the task signs on a course designed by the judge.
