The event brings together artists, musicians, songwriters, producers, and other music industry professionals to meet, share knowledge, and discover new opportunities for collaboration.
Music creators often work independently or in small teams. Professional support, new collaborators, and peer connections can be difficult to find even though collaboration is often what moves a music creator’s career forward.
Songwriter & Artist Day aims to address this by bringing creators together under one roof. Throughout the day, participants will engage in discussions about current topics in the music industry, meet industry professionals, and build new networks.
Theme 2026: The Power of Collaboration
This year’s event focuses especially on collaboration and networking. During the day, we will explore how different organizations and companies as well as individual creators such as songwriters and performers can find new partners, build sustainable collaborations, and make use of regional networks to support their professional development.
The program includes panel discussions, a songwriting feedback session (“Biisigrilli”), a pitching session, and guided networking activities. The goal is to spark new connections and generate concrete collaboration ideas both locally and across regional and language boundaries.
The event is organized by the Rytmi Institute. The event is made possible by the Rytmi Institute, the Resonanssi and Klusteri projects (co-funded by the European Union), and the Musiikin edistämissäätiö (MES).
