Cultural grant applications open in November – apply for funding for 2026

Grants are awarded for artistic work, individual projects, and activities that promote inclusion and community spirit and are open to the public in Vaasa. Applicants must be based in Vaasa.

Communities and associations in Vaasa actively involved in cultural work can apply for one- or three-year operating grants to support their established and ongoing activities.

Please note that even if you are applying for a cultural grant for 2026, you must complete the application for the year 2025 in the online system, as the application deadline falls before the end of the year.

Grants are also available for cooperation between Vaasa and Umeå

Applications are also open for grants from the Twin Town Fund, which supports cultural and sports collaboration between Vaasa and Umeå

Twin Town Fund grants are available to sports clubs registered in Vaasa, as well as to Vaasa-based arts and culture groups and organisations. The goal is to support exchanges and joint projects between the two cities.
