Nominate the Vaasa Cultural Achievement of 2025 in January

The City of Vaasa presents the Vaasa Cultural Achievement of the Year Award in early 2026. Residents can nominate candidates until 31 January 2026.
The award is presented to an individual or group that has contributed to enriching and diversifying cultural life in Vaasa in 2025. The nomination may be based on, for example, a new initiative, long-term work, or a significant individual achievement.
A panel made up of representatives from the city’s Cultural Services will select three finalists from the nominations submitted by residents. Residents will be able to vote for their favourite in February and March.
Submit your nomination with a brief justification by 31 January 2026 at: https://link.webropol.com/s/vuoden-vaasalainen-kulttuuriteko-2025 (the form is available in Finnish and Swedish).
The Vaasa Cultural Achievement of the Year prize is worth €2,000 and will now be awarded for the seventh time.
