Pitkäkatu street temporarily closed from 26 to 30 May

Pitkäkatu will be closed to vehicular traffic at Pitkäkatu 39 due to water main works from 26 to 30 May 2025. Pedestrian access will remain open as usual throughout the works.
The works are related to the nearby hotel construction site. A deep excavation will be carried out on the street. For the safety of both workers and road users, the road will be closed to vehicles for the duration of the works.
The road will be closed on Monday morning and reopened to traffic by Friday afternoon at the latest, once the works are complete.
