The new multi-purpose court at Kasarmintori completed

A new multi-purpose sports court was built at Vaasa’s Kasarmintori over the summer. The new outdoor court, perfect for basketball and floorball, is located next to the synthetic turf pitch on Kasarminkatu.

The new multi-purpose sports court features a floorball court and a basketball court.

The court area is fenced, and the playing surface measures 40 x 20 metres. The court features four basketball hoops, with higher fences behind the baskets. The court also has a low-sided rink for floorball.

The multi-purpose court is intended for everyone in Vaasa, with a particular focus on children and young people. The court does not have reserved time slots.
