What, who, how?
What?
Family physical activity guidance is a free service provided by the City of Vaasa Sports Services It offers support and tools to promote the well-being of families. The physical activity adviser works alongside the family, supporting and encouraging them in making lifestyle changes. Programmes and plans are tailored to meet the needs of each family.
Who?
The project’s primary target group is families with children of school age or younger. Particular attention is given to families who are not regularly active or who need extra guidance and support to increase their physical activity and well-being.
How?
The family fills in and submits the contact form, after which a physical activity adviser will then arrange a meeting. During the first meeting, we discuss the family’s activity habits and other aspects of their well-being. The guidance includes one or more meetings and regular follow-up.
