Christmas peace - charity concert to support Ukraine

Wasa Sinfonietta and friends want to wish Christmas Peace by arranging charity christmas concerts with artists that have fled war from Ukraine: “Joulurauhaa – Julfred – Christmas Peace” at Vaasa City Hall on saturday 26.11.2022 14.00 and 16.00.

The concerts will familiarize us to both Ukrainian and Finnish christmas music and culture.

Presenters: Hippi Hovi and Olena Galchenko

Soloists: Rimma Bahdasarian, Markku Keho and Rebecka Sretenovic

Performers e.g.: Canticum Maris -ensemble, Choir from Övningsskola, Kalambur theater group with their director Olha Zubkova, Ukrainian childrens choir with their director Halyna Luzecka, who plays also piano at the concerts and Olexandra Ihevehenko, piano. Conductor Johan Sundqvist. The duration of one concert is about an hour. The event is organized in cooperation with Finland Ukraina Ostrobotniia Kalyna -association.
