ELive Stream co-creators and houseband guitarist Martin Söderbacka and bass player Eevalotta Matikainen will be performing own compositions and rearranged pop/rock classics in a jazzy way in this concert. Söderbacka-Matikainen Duo will be playing classics such as “While my guitar gently weeps” and “Across the universe” by the Beatles.
Martin Söderbacka and Eevalotta Matikainen started collaborating in 2010 and formed Söderbacka-Matikainen Duo. They have since then performed together with some of Finlands foremost musicians such as Joonatan Rautio, Jukka Perko, Teemu Viinikainen, David Lyttle, Jesse Kaikuranta, Mikko Pettinen, Sid Hille, Toni Porthén, Mikael Svarvar, Siim Aimla (EST) and David Lyttle (IRL). Söderbacka and Matikainen have also produced concert series and events such as #musikmittivardagen and #elivejazzhappening. Martin and Eevalotta also co-lead the energetic soul/jazz quintet Soul What? feat. Joonatan Rautio.
