FCAA Finals - Finnish College Hockey League Final Tournament
College sport has arrived in Finland! For the first time in history, the championship trophy of the new college hockey league FCAA will rise towards the roof of Vaasa’s Sähkö Arena on Thursday, 11th of April. The two-day (10.-11.4.) final tournament will gather 21 mixed and four women’s teams to fight for the championship in their own leagues! Did you know that several current and former Liiga and Mestis players play in FCAA, so there is no lack of quality on the ice! In addition, there will be a lot of side events, from an exhibition match of reality TV stars to concerts by Tuuli and ANI at Vaasan Sähkö Arena at the end of the tournament! Matches will be played on both days from 7:00-22:00. The women’s final will be played on Thursday 11.4. at 19:00* and the mixed league final at 20:00*, gigs at 21:00*.
Mighty Cocks from the University of Vaasa and VAMK will be fighting for the FCAA championship from 2nd place in the regular season, so there will be plenty of excitement for the people of Vaasa on both days!
