GADDKASTET 30 YEARS! Fishing competition in Oravais
Oravais Fiskargille is hosting the 30th Gäddkastet competition on September 5, 2026. The competition starts at 11:00 AM at Oravais Marina. The contest will be held in 4 categories: Single, Double, Team (max 3 people per team), and C&R. During the day, salmon soup, sausages, sandwiches, and coffee with treats will be served at Oravais Marina. The competition is open to everyone! In the evening, the Fishermen’s Guild together with OUF invites all participants to a pub night at Årvasgården (Oravais Youth Center), where the real fishing stories come out, with live music by Los Herreros!
