Dip your toes into the glitter filled world of burlesque!
In this introduction workshop you will hear about the history of burlesque and get to dip your toes in to some simple choreography. We will go through the basic movements in burlesque dance and learn a choreography inspired by the glitz and glam you can find at burlesque shows. Innovative striptease is a part of burlesque seen on stages – but in this workshop we won’t be stripping more than our gloves. Focus will be on moving our body in a new way and perhaps finding new sides to oneself. No prior experience is needed!
Teacher is Minx N’Tonic who has been in the finnish burlesque scene for ten years now. She teacher burlesque dance classes in Pietarsaari and Kauhava.
