Classical Music Festival in Kaskinen and Närpes
Kaskinen Music Summer is a classical music festival that has been held annually since 2008, offering high-quality chamber music experiences in Kaskinen and Närpes. The proximity of the sea, the rich history of Kaskinen, the bilingual cultural environment, and the picturesque wooden town create a unique setting for unforgettable musical experiences. Concerts take place at the atmospheric Bladh House (Bladhin talo) as well as in the churches of Kaskinen and Närpes.
The festival features violinists Leena Jaakkola and Tami Pohjola, violists Eriikka Nylund and Rémi Moingeon, cellists Samuli Peltonen (Artistic Director) and Tomas Nuñez, and pianist Raili Peltonen.
