Yoriko Yamamoto and Othilie Emanuelsen tell about their art practice
Yoriko Yamamoto (Japan/USA) and Othilie Emanuelsen (Norway) are spending September as artists-in-residence at the Spectra Art Association. Yoriko is a textile artist and educator. During her stay in Kristinestad, she has been working with natural dyes and traditional Japanese crafts. Othilie is a designer whose artistic practice explores food and plants. In Kristinestad, she has been working with ceramics. On Saturday, 26 September, they will present their artistic practice through words, images and objects: Yoriko at 1 pm and Othilie at 1:30 pm.
