Quite Vivian released their debut album ´Fragile People´ in January 2026, exploring vulnerability, space, and collective sound.
The co-led trio performs original jazz-influenced music shaped by texture, interaction, and emotional nuance. Through the interplay of saxophone, guitar, and drums, they create an immersive sound world that balances open improvisation with memorable melodies and rich harmonic detail.
The ensemble brings together three internationally respected musicians who first met while performing in the Focusyear Band 2023 project in Basel, Switzerland. Drawing on their diverse musical backgrounds, Quite Vivian developed a shared musical language rooted in close listening, rhythmic flexibility, and collective expression.
Featuring Adele Sauros (FIN) on tenor and soprano saxophone and voice, Wilfried Wilde (FRA) on guitar, and Rajiv Jayaweera (AUS) on drums, the trio performs original compositions, including two pieces co-written by Sauros and Wilde.
Chris Cheek appears as a guest on “Not Yet Quite in My Consciousness” on their album.
