Unique graphics from the last five years

Tuomas Hallivuo is an artist born in Hamina in 1968. He lives and works in Vähäkyrö. His works mostly with metal graphics, but he also makes woodcuts and paintings. The works in this exhibition are unique graphics made during the last five years. The artist’s themes range from buildings to humans and birds. When he works, he lets the process lead without prior plans or sketches and sees in which direction the work will take shape. The artist is inspired by different surfaces, emotional states, dreams and manmade things, such as wall surfaces, buildings and, for example, a lithograph stone darkened by ink.
