A design competition opened to create an intelligent spatial data solution for the city of Vaasa

The objective is to increase Vaasa’s understanding of urban mobility to achieve the goal of being a smart and sustainable city.
– We want to increase Vaasa’s understanding of urban mobility, develop our operations and measure impacts in order to achieve the goal of being a smart and sustainable city, says ICT-director Teemu Lehtonen.
In the design competition Huld Design Award 2020 organized by Huld Oy, a digital solution is being designed to utilize spatial information about the movement of Vaasa’s citizens. The competition is running to August 31, 2020 and the winners will be announced at the end of September 2020 at the Subcontracting Trade Fair – Alihankinta 2020.
