Changes to Lifti routes and timetables during Night of the Arts

On Thursday 13 August 2026, Vaasa will celebrate the Night of the Arts. During the event, some streets in the city centre will be closed, which will affect certain public transport routes.
Throughout Thursday 13 August, Lifti lines 1, 2 and 4 from Palosaari will run via Kirkkopuistikko, Kirjastonkatu and Raastuvankatu. In the opposite direction, bus lines from the city centre to Palosaari will run as usual via Hietasaarenkatu.
The Kirkkopuistikko 22 bus stop will be out of use, but all other bus stops will operate as normal.
In addition to the route changes, buses may have to wait for a few minutes during the Night of the Arts parade. This may cause minor delays to services. Check the latest timetables in the Lifti route planner.
