Embankment and dredging works to begin along the shoreline of the Innotalo block

The works are linked to the development and construction of the Innotalo block next to Yliopistonranta. Work is scheduled to begin in weeks 20–21, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed around the turn of July and August.
Work will be carried out on weekdays from 7–16. Apart from the noise from machinery and increased traffic, the works should not cause inconvenience to residents.
Before the embankment works begin, a 300-metre silt screen will be installed along the shoreline to prevent the water from becoming turbid outside the work area.
The purpose of the embankment and dredging works is to support the implementation of the local detailed plan for the Innotalo block (in Finnish and Swedish). In the future, construction work will begin in the area.
