Several swimming competitions at Vaasa Swimming Hall – check the exceptional opening hours

On Sunday 13 September, Vaasa Swimming Hall will close to the public early, at 15.00, due to swimming competitions. This autumn, Vaasa Swimming Hall will host several swimming competitions, which will affect its opening hours.
Time Trials will be held at the swimming hall on Sunday 13 September. Consequently, both the pools and the gym will close at 15.00. The competition is organised by Vaasan uimaseura.
Swimming competitions at Vaasa Swimming Hall this autumn:
- 13 September – Time Trials: the swimming hall will close early at 15.00
- 9–10 October – Vaasa Uinnit: the swimming hall will close at 15.30 on Friday 9 October and remain closed on Saturday 10 October
- 14–15 November – Regional age-group competitions (IKM): the swimming hall is closed
- 17–20 December – Short-course Finnish Championships: the swimming hall is closed; closing early at 16.00 on 16 December
Other events in autumn 2026
- 12–16 October – Adventures on the Wibit water obstacle course during the school autumn break
- 30 October – Halloween disco
- 22 October & 12 November – Candlelit swimming with live music
