Konepajankatu level crossing to close temporarily on 10 September

Maintenance work will be carried out at the Konepajankatu level crossing, which will be closed overnight on Thursday 10 September. The closure will start at 18.00 on Thursday and end at 6.00 the following morning, Friday 11 September.
During the closure, motorists will be diverted via Pitkäkatu and Vuorikatu, and via Asemakatu and Sepänkyläntie. Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via Semaforinkuja.
Maintenance work was also carried out at the Konepajankatu level crossing at the end of August. This week, the traffic arrangements will be the same as during the previous closure.
The maintenance work will also affect public transport
The closure will affect Lifti line 7.
From 18.00 on Thursday 10 September, Lifti line 7 will follow a diversion via Hietasaarenkatu – Pitkäkatu – Vuorikatu – Vöyrinkatu – Konepajankatu in both directions. This will not affect any bus stops.
On Friday 11 September, Lifti line 7 will run on its normal route.
