Level crossing in Vaskiluoto to close temporarily from 23 September

Maintenance work will be carried out at the level crossing on the Blue Highway, requiring the road to be closed at the Niemeläntie junction from 18.00 on Wednesday 23 September 2026. The work is expected to be completed and the road reopened at 6.00 on Friday 25 September 2026.
During the maintenance work, vehicle traffic will be diverted via Sahakatu. Pedestrians and cyclists can continue to use the shared walking and cycling path alongside the railway line as normal.
The maintenance work will have no impact on public transport routes.
