Lifti now accepts Epassi as a payment method

The Epassi commuter benefit can now be used to buy Lifti season tickets and top up travel cards in the Waltti online store. From the start of 2026, Epassi will also be available as a payment option in the Waltti Mobile app, which can be downloaded from the app store on a smartphone.
An active Epassi commuter benefit is required to pay for bus tickets. The commuter benefit is personal and may only be used on the holder’s own travel card.
To pay with Epassi, log in or create a Waltti account at waltti.fi. Next, choose whether you want to top up your travel card or buy a season ticket. Once the item is in your shopping cart, proceed to checkout and select Epassi as the payment method. The first time you use Epassi, log in with your email or phone number. After that, Epassi will be linked to your Waltti account and can be selected as a payment method automatically.
Employee benefits (Epassi and Edenred) have already been accepted as payment methods for Lifti trips at the Citizen Service and the Vähäkyrö joint service point for the past year.
In addition to the Epassi payment option, Waltti accounts will be updated to let customers carry out certain actions such as blocking a lost travel card themselves.
